SCHOOL COACHING / BREAKFAST, LUNCHTIME & AFTER SCHOOL CLUB COACHING

London Jaguars provides bespoke sporting programmes at schools to young people through coaching and mentoring during Breakfast, lunch and after school sessions.

We also deliver holiday programmes during half-term and summer break for children whilst working alongside with the schools.

Schools have the opportunity to partake in Jaguars Community Youth Forum and exclusive rights to activities outside school hours.

Schools will have access to participate in competitive opportunities and pathway into Jaguars sports leagues and clubs.

FITNESS & NUTRITION SESSIONS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (16 – 24 YEARS OLD)

We run fitness and recreational sessions in key areas for young people aged between 16-24 years old. Our qualified fitness instructor supports and delivers our programme throughout the year for 52 weeks. The sessions initiates opportunities to support the deprived young people by providing a fitness and recreational program to increase their fitness and wellbeing and their knowledge upon nutrition and change of lifestyle.

The project assists and supports young people with fun and recreational activities to learn and educate by use of fitness sessions, nutritional advice, seminars, guest invitation, group discussions, etc. to support with their development.

FITNESS & NUTRITION SESSIONS FOR LADIES ONLY

Our fitness and nutrition sessions are exclusively delivered for the deprived women's aged 18+ within Tower Hamlets especially the BAME community who are less physically active by providing a fitness, recreational and nutrition program to increase their fitness and wellbeing and their knowledge through fitness sessions, nutritional advice, guest invitations, group discussions, etc. to support with their development and educational support they require to improve their physical, emotional and mental goals. Regular weekly Fitness and Zumba sessions are provided throughout the year.

FUNTECH, ARTS & CREATIVITY SESSION (12 WEEKS PROGRAMME)

Our Fun-Tech workshops are a great start to developing children's imagination, creativity, self-learning skills and hands-on ability and guide them to generate innovative ideas.

These sessions are run and delivered by a fully qualified IT technician/Engineer who provides a bespoke programme where children learn how to use alternative circuits and grasp the real experiments built from their fingertips. The workshops features scientific and physical fun facts alongside with practical sessions to build children’s confidence in their ability and expressing their ideas to the audience. This helps them to develop their Science/Tech education and practical ability.

SELF-DEFENCE CLASSES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (6 – 14 YEARS OLD)

With the current times now changing and growing concerns rising, we have launched self-defence classes for young people in order to increase awareness using threat recognition, understanding and making use of body language in addition to combining simple and effective physical self-defence techniques to work in stressful situations.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

London Jaguars offers dedicated Outdoor development programmes for young people who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and with additional needs through empowering them towards realising their potential. This is achieved by providing outdoor adventure and team building events, residentials and programme in the form of canoeing, kayaking, abseiling, climbing, fencing, bush craft, biking, camping, team games and many more. Through this programme young people are able to gain new experiences, confidences, independences, and social and life skills.

JAGUARS ARCHERS CLUB

Our Archers Club is a combination of a long tradition and modern technology where young people are able to develop self-confidence, concentration, discipline and as a result increase upper body strength.

These sessions are run and delivered by a fully qualified instructor who provides fun activities for the young people where it is a great way to improve dexterity, precision and hand to eye co-ordination. Not only does it teach discipline, patience and focus but also provides the archer with a strong sense of personal achievement and life skill.
